What can I expect?

On this evening tour we explore the dark side of London and learn more about Jack the Ripper. We'll start by driving around London and your guide will tell you all the dark secrets, The Theatre Drury Lane is said to be the most haunted Theatre in London. You'll get to find out why!

We also see the Old Bailey, the site where numerous hangings took place and a drive along Fleet Street, home of Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

As the night gets darker, we'll approach London’s East End where crimes in the 19th century was everyday occurrence. It was here Jack the Ripper came out of the fog in the autumn of 1888 and terror struck as he stalked and butchered his five female victims.

We leave the coach and walk his death trail discussing the evidence and the suspects. We also visit the 10 bells Pub from 1752 where most of Jack the Ripper’s victims were said to have drunk.

We will also visit one of London’s most authentic fish and chip restaurants where you can sample this world famous British cuisine – their fish is supplied by Billingsgate Market and served in the traditional manner as you continue your walking tour.

"Stort TACK till våran guide Philip. Han gjorde hela turen oförglömlig. Han grep med oss från första början av bussturen och genom hela kvällen. Tog sig också friheten att berätta om London medans vi åkte med bussen till tour starten, vilket uppskattades väldigt mycket. Philip var en otrolig bra berättare, bra inlevelse och kunde verkligen sin historia. Bra ordnat av Evan Evan tour. Kommer absolut använda deras service igen och boka via er. Allt fungerade klockrent."

"Vi møtte en utrolig flott guide. Han hadde en tydelig og klar stemme og snakket slik at alle forsto godt hva han sa. Han visste mye om London og fortalte mye underveis på bussturen til White Chappel. Morsomt med en liten pause på pub med en liten smak fish and ships. Guiden hadde ingen problemer med å holde hele gruppen samlet. Anbefaler turen til alle som er klar for en spesiell opplevelse."

"Treffpunkt ist das Evan Evans Office in der 258 Vauxhall Bridge Road. Ab hier geht es mit dem Bus in Richtung London City / White Chapel (London East). Der Guide John weiß richtig viel über die Stadt und natürlich über Jack the Ripper. Mit einfachem Schulenglisch kommt man bei dieser Tour nicht sehr weit. Also wenn man nicht fließend Englisch (mit schottischem Akzent) versteht, dann kann man sich diesen Rundgang sparen. Ich fand es super interessant, den Fisch haben wir nicht gegessen, man kann auch nur Pommes nehmen."
